Based: Irvine, North Ayrshire

Salary: Commensurate with skills and experience

Working Hours: Full Time - 40hrs per week, Monday to Friday

Working Hours: Full Time – 37.5 hours per week, although part-time hours would be considered (minimum three days per week).

Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the Company Document Control function, under the supervision and guidance of the Quality Manager.
• Creation, revision, distribution and archiving of both electronic and hard copy documents.
• Understand and implement the principles of Good Document Practice (GDocP) under the guidance of the Quality Manager.
• Follow written and verbal instruction, completing delegated tasks in a timely, accurate and efficient manner.
• Support site Quality Event functions.
• To undertake additional training in response to changes in scope of duties performed.
• Deputise & support other QC staff as required.
Experience, Skills, & Characteristics:
• Previous experience as a Document Controller would be preferential.
• Strong administration skills.
• Experience of working with Quality Management Systems.
• Excellent written English and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail is vital.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The role entails a significant amount of Quality related checks and paperwork relating to licensed and registered medicines and food supplements.
• Self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic, excellent organisational and time management skills. Pro-active and able to work on own initiative and complete agreed tasks effectively.
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work across departments.
• Good knowledge of IT packages such as Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
